River Red Gum
Eucalyptus camaldulensis, commonly known as the River Red Gum, is a large-sized, hardy tree that features pretty flowers and interesting foliage. The white flowers are produced in autumn amidst the loosely held, blue-green leaves. It typically grows to 30 m tall and 15 m wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, extended dry periods, and moderate wind. This variety is commonly grown as a specimen, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, grown as a shade tree, or used on lifestyle blocks for shelter and screening.
