Commonly known as the Evergreen Ash, this is an attractive, small tree. It features glossy green leaves that have a silvery underside. The foliage is complemented with clusters of white flowers in spring which literally coat the tree. This evergreen typically grows with a rounded and somewhat dense crown to about 7 m tall and 4 m wide. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, though it tolerates a wide range of soils, barring extreme wet. It is also tolerant of moderate frost, wind, and extended dry periods once established. This Ash is commonly used as a specimen in parks or large gardens and for avenue planting.
