Leptospermum laevigatum, commonly known as the Coastal Tea Tree, is a compact shrub that produces masses of white flowers which literally coat the plant during spring and summer. The foliage comprises small, grey-green leaves which complement the flowers nicely. The Coastal Tea Tree typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Leptospermum laevigatum is commonly used as a backdrop for smaller plants, included in a mixed planting, trimmed into a hedge, or planted around outdoor living areas.
