Liriodendron tulipifera Snowbird, commonly known as the Tulip Poplar tree, is a stately, deciduous tree favoured for its form and foliage. The leaves are variegated cream and dark green and held somewhat densely on upright branches. As autumn progresses, they take on yellow tones before falling. It grows compactly with a conical shape to about 8 m tall and 4 m wide. Liriodendron tulipifera Snowbird is commonly grown as a specimen in a larger garden or park, or used in avenue plantings.
