The lush foliage is borne mid-green, ages to become a darker green, then develops yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows to about 8 m tall and 6 m wide. Magnolia Alba makes for a fantastic specimen and is commonly included in mixed plantings in larger gardens.

Magnolia campbelli Alba is an outstanding variety due to its spectacular flowering. Through late winter and early spring, it bears masses of large and showy, fragrant, white flowers on the bare stems before the foliage emerges. The lush foliage is borne mid-green, ages to become a darker green, then develops yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a somewhat rounded shape to about 8 m tall and 6 m wide, and can be trimmed and shaped as necessary. This tree grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Magnolia Alba makes for a fantastic specimen and is commonly included in mixed plantings in larger gardens. The beauty of this tree will please no matter where it is used.
