The dark green foliage emerges soon after and turns wonderful shades of yellow in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 8 m tall and 5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. This Magnolia grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost and cool climates. Magnolia Lanarth is commonly added to a mixed planting, grown as a specimen, included in cottage gardens, or used a stunning backdrop for smaller plants. It is a very rewarding tree with great aesthetics.
