Magnolia Star Wars Details

Magnolia Star Wars is an outstanding tree due to its spectacular flowering and tidy form. It bears masses of mildly fragrant, pink flowers in spring which open to reveal a blushed white interior. The flowers are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges, providing for a dramatic and colourful display. The leaves emerge light green in spring, age to become a darker green, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a vase shape to about 5 m tall and the same wide, but can be trimmed as necessary. This tree grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Magnolia Star Wars makes for a fantastic specimen and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in an avenue planting, or planted to border an entrance. The beauty of this tree will please no matter where it is used.
