Magnolia stellata Royal Star is a variety of the commonly known, Star Magnolia, features dark pink flower buds that open in spring to reveal star shaped, white flowers. The fragrant blooms appear just before the lush, green leaves emerge. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Magnolia Royal Star is commonly grown as a specimen, added to a mixed planting, included in a cottage garden, or planted as a cluster for a stunning display.
