Magnolia stellata Waterlily, commonly known as Star Magnolia, features mildly fragrant, white, lily-like flowers in late winter and early spring, just before the foliage emerges. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Magnolia stellata Waterlily is commonly grown as a specimen tree, added into a mixed planting, used in cottage or “white” gardens, or planted as a cluster.
