Malus x arnoldiana, Arnoldiana Crabapple
Malus arnoldiana is a variety of Crabapple that bears masses of fragrant, single, pink-white flowers which result in small, red fruit in late summer. The foliage in spring emerges a fresh green, ages to a darker green, and then develops yellow and orange tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 4 m tall and 6 m wide. Malus arnoldiana is commonly grown as a specimen, added to a mixed planting, or included anywhere the flowers and fruit can be appreciated.
