Pearlie Emma Crabapple
Malus Pearlie Emma is variety of Crabapple that features rose-coloured flower buds that open into showy, pink and white blossoms in spring just as the foliage emerges. The flowers result in large crops of small, cherry-like, yellow fruit. The glossy leaves emerge green in spring, age to a darker green, then develop yellow and orange tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. Malus Pearlie Emma is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a cottage garden, or used for avenue planting.
