This evergreen typically grows to 8 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of wet, swampy conditions, coastal environments, moderate frost, and dry periods. Melaleuca ericifolia is commonly grown as a specimen, planted in wet areas, used for shelter and screening, or planted to attract wildlife.
