Melaleuca styphelioides, commonly known as the Prickly Paperbark, is a medium-sized tree grown for its pretty flowers and hardy nature. It has dense, almost needle like, dark green foliage and produces showy, cream-coloured, bottle brush-like flowers during spring. This evergreen typically grows to 20 m tall and 8 m wide. Melaleuca styphelioides is commonly grown as a specimen, used for shelter and screening, used in coastal plantings, or planted to attract wildlife.
