“Princess Cinderella” is a handsome tree grown for both its foliage and lovely flowers. This shapely plant carries glossy, green leaves which are very aesthetic in their own right. Velvet buds open through late winter and spring to reveal showy, heavily scented, cream flowers. It typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, and short periods of dry though will benefit from being protected while it is establishing. “Princess Cinderella” is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, clipped into a hedge, used in an avenue planting, added to a cottage garden, or planted as a backdrop for smaller plants.
