Mountain Totara
Podocarpus laetus, commonly known as Mountain Totara, is an elegant NZ native tree that features small leaves which are held somewhat densely off sturdy branches. It typically grows with a single trunk and has flaky, paper-like bark, eventually reaching 20 m tall and 12 m wide. Podocarpus laetus makes for a lovely specimen in parks and the like and is also well suited to being included in revegetation plantings.
