Prunus Rhexii
Prunus cerasus Rhexii is a popular variety of Flowering Cherry that features masses of double, white flowers in spring. New foliage in spring emerges with bronze tones, ages to mid-green, then develops colourful yellow, orange, and red tones in autumn before falling. This deciduous tree grows with a rounded crown to about 8 m tall and 5 m wide. Prunus Rhexii is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, added to a mixed planting, included in Japanese and cottage gardens, or planted to border an entrance.
