Prunus Mountain Haze Details

Prunus Mountain Haze is a variety of Flowering Cherry featuring masses of pink blossoms in early spring. The flowers are complemented with foliage that emerges light green in spring, ages to become a darker green, then develops colourful red, orange, and yellow tones in autumn before falling. The lush foliage is held on gently arching branches. It grows with a tidy, rounded form to about 5 m tall and 4 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Prunus Mountain Haze is a stunning tree when in flower and makes a fine addition to any garden. It is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, used to border an entrance, included in cottage gardens, or added to a mixed planting.
