Prunus Ukon is a tree grown for its impressive flowering and autumn leaf colouring. Pink buds open in spring to reveal large and showy, double, lime green flowers. Prunus Ukon Details

Prunus Ukon is a tree grown for its impressive flowering and autumn leaf colouring. Pink buds open in spring to reveal large and showy, double, lime green flowers. The flowers age to a darker green and take on pink tones. The foliage emerges bronze coloured in spring, ages to mid-green, then develops red and orange tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a vase shape to about 5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in a full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. Prunus Ukon is stunning when in flower and makes a fine addition to any garden. It is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, or added to a mixed planting.
