The lush foliage emerges light green in spring, ages to become dark green, then develops impressive yellow and brown tones in autumn before falling. Small, yellow-green flowers in spring result in brown acorns in autumn which attract all manner of wildlife. Saw Tooth Oak trees typically grow to 18 m tall and 8 m wide with a broad and rounded crown. Quercus acutissima is commonly grown as a specimen in large gardens and parks where it will provide wonderful summer shade and fabulous autumn colours.
