Quercus bicolor, commonly known as the Swamp White Oak or Bicolor Oak, is a large and deciduous tree with lovely, colourful foliage. The Swamp White Oak typically grows to 20 m tall and 15 m wide with a rounded, open growth habit. The foliage emerges light green in spring, ages to dark green, then develops impressive red-orange tones in autumn before falling. Small, yellow-green flowers in spring produce brown acorns in autumn. Quercus bicolor is commonly grown as a specimen in large gardens and parks where it will provide wonderful summer shade and fabulous autumn colours. It is also well suited to planting alongside water features.

Quercus bicolor, commonly known as the Swamp White Oak or Bicolor Oak, is a large and deciduous tree with lovely, colourful foliage. The Swamp White Oak typically grows to 20 m tall and 15 m wide with a rounded, open growth habit.
