Robinia Lace Lady Details

Robinia Lace Lady, commonly known as the False Acacia tree, is a deciduous tree grown for its lace-like foliage and pendulous form. The showy foliage emerges light green in spring, ages to become dark green, then develops colourful yellow tones in autumn before falling. The lush leaves are borne off stems that hang with a gentle arch. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and dry periods. Robinia Lace Lady is commonly grown as a specimen, used in oriental themed gardens, or maintained in a courtyard garden.
