Salix caprea pendula, commonly known as the Dwarf Pussy Willow or Kilmarnock Willow, is a deciduous tree grown for its impressive flowers and pendulous growth habit. Before the foliage emerges in late winter, trees produce a showy display of cream-grey, woolly flowers (catkins). The foliage comprises large, bright green leaves in spring, which age to dark green, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 2 m tall and the same wide. Salix caprea pendula is commonly grown as a specimen or included in a mixed planting.
