Salix Kinuyanagi
Salix kinuyanagi is a deciduous tree grown for its impressive flowers and foliage. Before the foliage emerges in late winter, trees produce a showy display of yellow, woolly flowers (catkins). The display is both unusual and extraordinary. The long and narrow foliage is bright green and develops yellow tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 8 m tall and the same wide. Salix kinuyanagi is commonly planted around water features, to provide winter interest, or as a feature in a mixed planting.
