Sophora Japonica Pendula, commonly known as the Japanese Pagoda, this is a stunning tree with branches that cascade to the ground. The foliage comprises deep green, oval leaflets which turn soft yellow in autumn before falling. Cream-white, pea like flowers are borne in large clusters during summer as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. The Japanese Pagoda is commonly grown as specimen, added to a mixed planting, used in a courtyard planting, or maintained in a container.
