Sorbus aria Lutescens, commonly known as Whitebeam, is a medium-sized, deciduous tree. It features leaves that emerge with a silver colouring in spring, age to become grey-green, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. Small, cream-white flowers in spring result in red-orange berries in autumn as it grows to 10 m tall and 6 m wide. Sorbus aria Lutescens is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting in a large garden, or used in avenue plantings.
