Taxus cuspidata, commonly known as the Japanese Yew, is a conifer that grows as an evergreen tree to about 10 m tall and the same wide. It carries small, needle like, dark green leaves which are held densely on rigid stems. Small, green flowers open in spring and result in small, red berries. Taxus cuspidata is commonly added to mixed plantings, grown as a small feature tree, trimmed into a hedge, used for topiary, or planted for its architectural form.
