This tree typically grows to 10 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, short periods of dry, and urban conditions. Tilia amurensis is commonly grown as a specimen, used for avenue plantings, or included in a mixed planting in a larger garden.
