Ulmus Wredei is a variety of Golden Elm grown for its colourful foliage and upright form. The leaves emerge bright yellow and retain this colour into summer. Through late summer the leaves develop green tones which can give the tree a dual-coloured display. As autumn progresses the leaves turn shades of orange and yellow before falling. It grows with a somewhat narrow and columnar shape to eventually reach 8 m tall and 3 m wide. Ulmus Wredei is commonly grown as a specimen and is perfect for avenue planting as well as smaller gardens.

Ulmus Wredei is a variety of Golden Elm grown for its colourful foliage and upright form. The leaves emerge bright yellow and retain this colour into summer. Through late summer the leaves develop green tones which can give the tree a dual-coloured display. As autumn progresses the leaves turn shades of orange and yellow before falling. It grows with a somewhat narrow and columnar shape to eventually reach 8 m tall and 3 m wide. Best results with this tree are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site with some shelter. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, poor soils, and dry periods. Ulmus Wredei is commonly grown as a specimen and is perfect for avenue planting as well as smaller gardens.
