These oak wine barrels originate from Europe and have aged some of NZs better wines. The barrels are perfect for growing ornamental trees, spring bulbs, small shrubs, fruit trees, or vegetables and are particularly useful where space is limited. Often two half barrels will be planted up and placed at an entrance. Each half barrel is typically 660 mm wide and 440 mm tall.
