Lomandra Echidna Details

Lomandra Echidna is a tough and reliable ornamental grass with outstanding aesthetics. It features lush, mid-green foliage that is held upright with a slight, gentle arch. Small, yellow flowers in spring are borne amidst the foliage and combine nicely with the foliage. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This is a hardy plant that will tolerate drought, frost, cold climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil types, except extreme wet. Lomandra Echidna is commonly mass planted either as a ground cover or on a bank, included in borders or mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, or used anywhere a hardy and attractive grass is required.
