The Barbara Clark Camellia is a hybrid variety that is an evergreen shrub that produces semi-double, bright pink flowers during spring and early summer. The foliage is glossy green and complements the flowers nicely. It has a somewhat spreading habit and typically reaches 2.5 m tall and the same wide and can be contained to smaller sizes with trimming. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. It is tolerant of cool and humid climates as well as moderate frost once established.
