Hydrangea Hobella Details

Hydrangea Hobella is an exquisite variety that features large flower heads made up of soft pink flowers that surround lighter pink florets. As the flowers age they develop a cherry red colouring. These are produced from summer through autumn and are complemented by large, green leaves that sit perfectly with the flowers. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best growth is achieved in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. It is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea Hobella is a great variety for including in a mixed planting, planting around the base of larger trees, adding to cottage gardens, maintaining in a container, growing as an informal hedge, or planting around outdoor living areas.Bottom of Form
