Coprosma repens Marble Queen, commonly known as Variegated Mirror Bush, is a NZ native shrub renowned for its stunning, variegated foliage. The leaves are glossy and impressively coloured cream and green. This evergreen grows densely to about 1 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil conditions, barring the extremes of wet and dry, coastal conditions, moderate frost, and wind. Coprosma Marble Queen is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, trimmed into a hedge, or used anywhere its rich colouring can be appreciated. For hedging plants should be spaced 50 cm apart.
